Informal Resolution Process

Outcomes of an informal resolution may include:

• Rearrangement of Work or Academic Schedules
• Obtaining Apologies
• Providing Informal Counseling
• Providing Informal Training

Upon receiving notification of a harassment or discrimination complaint, the Title IX Coordinator, or his/her designee, shall undertake efforts to informally resolve the charges. In addition, to an informal resolution the complainant may also choose to file a complaint leading to a formal investigation. During the process of a formal investigation the efforts for an informal resolution may continue.
