Thank you for participating in our eleventh annual health professions conference, sponsored by the Mt SAC Caduceus Club. Please carefully check the information below for accuracy.
Morning sessions include a keynote presentation and large workshops, panel discussions, and scientific sessions. Several concurrent workshops are repeated in each session and the workshops and panel discussions are repeated at least once. Scientific sessions are offered once and intended to give students an introduction into primary research related to the health care field. Afternoon sessions include smaller focus groups. Each focus group will be 40 minutes long with 5 minutes passing time between sessions. Demonstrations and interactive sessions are especially desirable for the focus groups. You will be asked to either participate in a group discussion, scientific session, or focus group based on your subject matter and your availability. There is also a noontime health education fair, and activities such as our suturing workshop will take place during that time. You will be receiving a letter electronically one week before the event with the more specific details. The letter will include expected arrival and check in time, duration and location of presentation, and information on parking. A parking permit will be provided for you, and a speaker ready room will be available where you can safely store your belongings if you wish to participate in the other activities during the day. Continental breakfast and a box lunch will be provided.
We sincerely appreciate your participation in this conference. We anticipate a very large turnout with lots of enthusiastic students who are looking forward to hearing your presentation.
Please note: A limited number of color ads are available for the program on a first come, first served basis at $150 each, our cost of printing. Please include ad copy and check made payable to Mt Sac Caduceus Club with your registration.
We are expecting approximately 1000 participants this year.
