San Antonio College offers special programs, scholarships, and registration opportunities for students who were foster youth to support them as they work to achieve their educational goals. Priority Registration

Extended Opportunity Programs and Services
Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) is a state-funded program that provides educational and financial support services to eligible students who have historically experienced economic and educational disadvantages. There are a number of programs housed under EOPS, such as the CARE program, designed to help foster youth. You can learn more about the resources available here.

Achieving in College, Ensuring Success (ACES)
Achieving in College, Ensuring Success (ACES) is a Student Support Services Program that was established by Congress to help students overcome class, social, academic, and cultural barriers to higher education. ACES is designed to help students who are low-income, the first in their family to attend college, or disabled get their associates degree and transfer from Mt. SAC to a four-year institution.
