      Step 2 - Canvas Problems not covered in the Guides
      If a Canvas tool/feature isn't behaving the way it should.

      No problem! These things happen sometimes. The great news is that help is always available! Canvas offers Mt. SAC Tier 1 wrap-around support that's available 24/7!  From this location, you can also access the community or file a ticket to Report a Problem. Feel free to do any of these things! To access these options inside your account:

      1. Log in to Canvas at Mt. SAC. (http://mtsac.instructure.com)
      2. Once in Canvas, click "Help" on the left global navigation (pictured here)
      3. To submit a ticket, click Report a Problem and fill out the form. The form will originate from your account, but feel free to identify yourself and the CRN of the course.
      4. Call the Mt. SAC Canvas Support line for faculty 833-345-2892
      5. Please note: Students can use the Hotline number listed under their Help button too!! The STUDENT number is 844-303-4499.

    • 3Step 3 - FCLT help: pedagogy, course design, help with complex items in Canvas
      Do you need help with how one or several tools in Canvas work together or over time? Perhaps you want advice on overall course design or accessibility. Ask the FCLT or use our Learn Canvas resources.

      The FCLT staff is available for consultation and support for more complex or more pedagogically driven questions. We can troubleshoot issues and help you think through or verify that tools are working as expected.  Maybe your questions are about regulatory issues such as accreditation, regular and substantive contact with students, accessibility, or copyright and fair use.  You can also consider the more comprehensive resources on our Learn Canvas page.

      Are you having enrollment problems in your Canvas course?

      Enrollment requires IT helpdesk assistance. Neither FCLT nor Canvas has access to the integration of registration or student information. You can submit a helpdesk ticket here, or you can dial them at x4357.
