How do I Qualify? EOPS | How do I Qualify?

  • Be a California resident or qualify as a California Dream Act Student

  • Be enrolled as a full-time student (12 units or more) when accepted to the program

  • Qualify to receive the Board of Governors Fee Waiver (method A, B, or C with a 0-EFC)

  • Have earned fewer than 40 degree applicable units with a minimum 2.0 GPA (including previous colleges attended)

In addition, you must meet ONE of the following educationally disadvantaged criteria:

  • Tested at or below English 67/AMLA 43W OR Math 51

  • Previously or currently enrolled in remedial education courses (math or English)                    
  • Foster Youth (former or current)                                                                                               
  • Did not graduate from high schoool, or obtained a G.E.D. (General Education Diploma)         
  • High School Grade Point Average (GPA) below 2.50
