WHO ARE WE?

Rachael Brown

   Rachael Brown joined Mt. SAC after working in the private sector for 10 years.  She is the Coordinator for the Work Experience Program.  With a professional background in Human Resources, Rachael has experience  in recruiting, business etiquette, industry  relations and  internships.   Students looking  for an opportunity to apply classroom knowledge and theory  in a real work environment and  earn college  course credit, contact Rachael Brown.  In addition to Work  Experience,  Rachael also assists students with career documents  (resumes,  cover letter, applications) and interviewing  skills and techniques.              Email: rbrown44@mtsac.edu or  (909) 274- 5675

 WHAT IS WE?

The Work Experience program is designed to give students hands on opportunity to experience their potential career path while earning course credit. Students spend a semester with an industry partner and participate in various activities/projects.  It is a golden opportunity to build your resume and professional network.  

Work Experience is not open to all students.

Students eligible to participate in Work Experience must have the following:

  • Overall good academic standing
  • Completed a minimum of 1/3 or their certificate courses OR Completed one SAMC course
  • Be able to dedicate a minimum of 8 hours per week to the program.
