Counseling Support

The EOA counseling staff assists students with defining their academic goals, educational planning, and reaching their objectives.
Counselors provide personal, educational, and academic guidance to help students achieve success in the classroom. Counselors monitor student progress and provide appropriate guidance as needed, such as assistance in planning and selecting appropriate college classes, or providing referrals to campus support services and community agencies.

Counselors help students:
  • New student orientations
  • Development of educational plans to meet students' individual goals
  • Explore re-entry into the workforce or new career options
  • Explore opportunities to transition to credit classes or finish a degree
  • Find referrals to campus and community resources
