Computer Literacy & Keyboarding

ABE computer classes help students gain skills in various computer applications, Internet web searching, emailing, and basic computer literacy.  Students may also learn computer skills through self-study, with support provided by instructors and lab assistants.  In addition, students can obtain Microsoft Office 2013 certificates by completing a series of computer tests that will demonstrate acquired knowledge and proficiency of each program.

The ABE computer lab offers excellent vocational preparation in the following software applications:
  • Microsoft Office 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, and Access)
  • Various keyboarding tutorial software programs
  • QuickBooks Pro
Registration is ongoing and can be done in person during ABE lab hours. Please visit the ABE Lab's Twitter page to access daily computer class offerings www.twitter.com/abeschedule.
