Mt. SAC to Host Family Science Festival Oct. 26

WALNUT, Calif.––– In conjunction with National Chemistry Week, Mt. San Antonio College will hold a Family Science Festival with science-related activities, crafts, and displays for the whole family on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the college’s Natural Sciences complex (buildings 7, 60, and 61). This event is free and open to the public.

Hands-on experiments, chemistry demonstrations, fossil and mineral exhibits, and the Meek Wild Animal Museum are all part of the fun at the family festival. There will also be food, door prizes, and a battery recycling center set up for the event.

This event is sponsored by the Mt. SAC Chemistry Department, the Mt. SAC Chemistry Club, and the San Gorgonio chapter of the American Chemical Society.
