ADJUNCT PROFESSOR, Management

THIS IS A TEMPORARY, HOURLY AS NEEDED POSITION WITHOUT PERMANENT STATUS

SALARY: $68.48 PER LECTURE HOUR EQUIVALENT (Adjunct are placed on salary schedule)

DUTIES: Teach Management and Management related courses.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


1. Master's in Business Administration, Business Management, Business Education, Marking Public Administration or Finance OR
2. Bachelor’s in any of the above and Master’s in Economics, Accountancy, Taxation or Law AND
3. a minimum of five years practical management experience (supervisory duties with profit and loss responsibilities) in private sector

Commitment to the community college goals/objectives of providing quality programs and services for students with diverse abilities and interests; personal qualities to work effectively and sensitively in a multicultural student environment; awareness and commitment to the special needs of non-traditional students; ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working with diverse groups of physics students in a classroom setting.
Familiarity with research based workshop or studio style physics course.
Experience with computer based laboratories.
Excellent communication skills.
