We welcome home our ONE MILLION alumni at our second annual Alumni Day.  Join us as we celebrate YOUR time and experience at Mt. SAC .  Come back to the campus, see how much has changed and celebrate the Mountie spirit that continues to be strong!

1:00 p.m.   Registration Opens (Plaza between Bldg 4 & Bldg 7)
1:15 p.m.   Kim & Erika Harrison, Television Writers Presentation – Founders Hall
Mt. SAC Alumnae, Kim and Erika Harrison talk about their journey from Mt. SAC to writing for two popular TV shows: Criminal Minds and How to Get Away with Murder
1:15 p.m.   Agriculture Trail tour (additional tours at 2:15 and 3:15)
Learn about California agriculture, efficient water irrigation systems, learning showcases on landscape design, plant identification, decking, as well as plant production, pest control and seasonal gardening.
2:00 p.m.   Planetarium Show (additional shows at 2:30, 3:00 and 3:30)
Over 1,500 Mt. SAC astronomy students. Over 3,000 kids from local schools. And now you! See why so many have become “star-struck” with our state-of-the-art planetarium and the incredible shows about our universe. Mt. SAC is one of the nation’s few community colleges that owns and operates a planetarium.
2:15 p.m.   Joe Orozco, Archaeology Presentation – Exploratorium
(additional talk at 3:00pm)

Our modern day "Indiana Jones", Mt. SAC Alumnus, Joe Orozco, Mesoamerican archaeologist presents his findings from his dig in Belize this summer.
2:15 p.m.   Observatory Tour
Peer through telescopes at sun spots and learn about student research
3:00 p.m.   Wildlife Sanctuary Tour – begin at Registration Plaza
Mt. SAC’s Wildlife Sanctuary is a 10-acre protected and cultivated preserve for the trees, shrubs and flowers that once grew in abundance here. It was also used by birds and other animals as a migratory refuge and breeding ground (Wear comfortable shoes.)
4:00 p.m.   Pre-game Reception – Stadium Entrance
Gearing up for the football game, enjoy a BBQ, beer garden, live music and a lot of Mountie Spirit!
6:00 p.m.   Mt. SAC vs. Citrus Football Game
Hear one of our acclaimed chamber singers lead the National Anthem, with a fly-over by Mt. SAC Flying team alumni. Special half-time show celebrating 2013-14 Mt. SAC Champions!
7:30 p.m.   Music Faculty Showcase – Feddersen Recital Hall
(this event overlaps with the football game)
Experience our extraordinarily talented vocal and instrumental faculty performing some of the most memorable music of the past century
