Register ASAP!

Complete these steps to get the best possible registration date.

In order to receive the best possible registration date, all students must complete the following steps. 

Returning students must be in good academic standing and have completed no more than 100 degree applicable units at Mt. SAC.

 

Step 1:  Assessment Testing

  • After you have applied and received your Mt. SAC User Name and ID Number, contact the Assessment Center to schedule testing in English and math.  Your Mt. SAC UserName and ID# will be emailed to you at the email address you provided on your application for admission
  • All students must take Mt. SAC’s placement tests unless they have already completed English/math classes at a regionally accredited institution.  If applicable, official transcripts must be sent to the Admissions and Records Office.

Step 2:  Orientation

  • Completion of orientation is required prior to registering for classes.

Step 3:  Education Plan         

  • Meet with a Counselor or Advisor to complete an Education Plan. 
  • All students seeking an early registration date must complete this requirement, even if planning to take only one course at Mt. SAC.

*For the purposes of establishing eligibility for early registration, some students may qualify for an exemption from the assessment or orientation requirement.  Click here for more information.
