Fred Chyr, President
Fred Chyr was elected to the Mt. San Antonio College
Board of Trustees in November 1995 and was reelected
in 1999, 2003, and 2007. He last served as Board
President in 2004.
He has nearly 30 years of experience in business
and education and currently serves as Chief Marketing
Officer at the University of La Verne.
Chyr earned an M.B.A. in marketing from the State
University of New York at Albany.
He has been an active member of the Industry Manufacturers
Council, Diamond Bar Chamber of Commerce, Rotary
Club, and the San Gabriel Valley Economic Partnership.
The Hacienda Heights resident has served as an
executive volunteer at Children's Hospital of
Orange County.
