Judy Chen Haggerty,

Judy Chen Haggerty was the first Asian American
to serve as President of the Mt. San Antonio
College Board of Trustees during 2006. She was
elected to the Board in 2001 and was reelected
in 2005. She previously served as an executive
board member of the Mt. SAC Foundation. She currently
serves on the advisory committee of the Mt.SAC
Regional Health Occupations Resource Center and
La Puente Valley Regional Occupational Program.
She served for 10 years as a board member of
the Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital, and
is the former 2nd Vice President of the Rowland
Heights Community Coordinating Council.
Professionally, Chen Haggerty is a practicing attorney
and law professor at Rio Hondo College and the
University of Phoenix. During the past 16 years
of her law practice, she has advised many domestic
and international companies and has focused on
educational consulting for the past six years.
Chen Haggerty holds a Bachelor of Law in public
administration from National Chun-Hsin University
(Taiwan) and a Juris Doctor from Western State
University College of Law. She is a long-term
resident of Rowland Heights.
