| The Student Equity Committee is pleased to make the 2005 Mt. San Antonio College Student Equity Plan available on the Mt. SAC web site. We encourage you to read the Executive Summary to gain an understanding of the background, motivation, and creation of the plan. The section on Campus Based Research is broken down into the areas of Access, Course Completion, ESL and Basic Skills Completion, Degree and Certificate Completion, and Transfer. Within each of these areas, the plan looks at issues of gender, ethnicity, and disability as specified by the Chancellor's Office. |
| You will also find a section that includes the committee's Goals, Activities, Budgets, and Timelines. This section outlines the committee's recommendations to the College to work toward equity on our campus. Please note under the Activities column there are many items that have been verified as completed or in progress, but there are also activities that have no identifiable progress indicated. |
| The Student Equity Committee considers this plan a "work in progress." Our philosophy is that issues of equity are a goal that should be sought after on a continuous basis. This plan is just the first step for us. |
